Albany Booster Club

The Albany Booster Club raises funds for music, drama, sports teams and all extracurricular activities that enrich the lives of students. It also provides a vehicle for schools clubs and organizations to raise funds by selling refreshments at district sports events.

Albany Charity for Arts in Education

ACAE is a not-for-profit organization whose sole mission is to support fine arts, theatre and musical performance by students in the Albany public schools. It is governed by a voluntary board with members drawn from the arts, academic and business communities.

Albany PTAs

Each school in the district has its own PTA that works to build a community within the school and enrich the lives of students.

Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar

It's goal is to assist economically disadvantaged students graduate from high school and attend college by providing mentors, academic tutoring, and other social interactions for selected students in partnership with the public high schools.

Donor's Choose

This site allows teachers and schools to post their needs and donors to choose projects they want to support.  The Gates Foundation matches individual contributions.

Seal A Smile

Seal a Smile provides school based preventive dental services such as screenings, cleanings, fluoride and sealants. Services are delivered with the medical and administrative oversight of Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Services.
